Opportunities exist for persons with relevant experience and qualifications for the position of Auditor (Higher Executive Officer level) in the Civil Service.
Currently there are vacancies in Dublin, in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER), but regional positions which may arise will be also filled from this competition.
The Internal and EU Audit Unit of DPER is a shared service internal audit provider to both DPER and the Department of Finance, the designated Audit Authority for the European Regional Development Fund in Ireland and the Independent Audit Body for the Recovery and Resilience Facility and Brexit Adjustment Reserve.
The successful candidates will have full membership, or eligibility for full membership, of a prescribed accountancy body supervised by the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA) and experience of modern auditing and accounting practice, with at least one year’s auditing experience
