CPA Ireland are recruiting a Trainee Accountant for Ryan Cannon Kirk.

We are currently looking to hire a Trainee Accountant to pursue their CPA Professional Accountancy exams and gain experience working in practice.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assisting with and the preparation of periodic management accounts.
  • Preparation the annual financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and corporate entities.
  • Preparing corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns.
  • Assist with audits and completion of audit of financial statements of corporate entities.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for management.
  • Meeting with clients and engaging with them in relation to specific business and taxation issues.
  • On an ad-hoc basis dealing with Revenue enquires, interventions and audits.

Person Profile

  • Graduate with a degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline and a view to completing professional exams.
  • Ability to communicate with peers and clients.
  • Hard working with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential
