We are currently recruiting a Payroll Analyst to join our Finance Team at Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls for employees in accordance with their terms & conditions of employment.
  • Process payroll amendments (tax credits and cut offs, voluntary deductions). 
  • Support pension account reconciliations and payment of deductions in accordance with statutory requirements. 
  • Responding to all payroll queries from employees and HODs.
  • Liaise with HR on a day to day basis with employee payroll related information.
  • Perform training with department managers on using the TMS system and payroll tools.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of payroll system (Alkimii & Micropay) and procedures
  • Ensure accuracy of information before inputting data into the system.
  • Inputting company absence related records in relation to annual leave, sickness and all other types of leave onto the Time and Attendance System.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Irish Payroll knowledge and experience of using payroll processing systems.
  • Previous experience using Alkimii desirable.
  • Positive orientation.
  • Effective communication verbal & written.

  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Passionate about self-development.
  • Business awareness and drive for improvement.
  • Professional level of Microsoft Excel competence.
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data.
