Job Description

CPA Ireland is one of the main Irish accountancy bodies with over 5,000 members and students. The CPA designation is the most commonly used designation worldwide for professional accountants and the Institute’s qualification enjoys wide international recognition. Its current membership operates in public practice, Industry, financial services and the public sector and CPAs work in over 40 countries around the world. 

Due to continued growth, we are establishing a recruitment service and are now hiring a Recruitment Specialist to drive this new initiative forward.  

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain a full and active pipeline of accountancy talent for members and employers  
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle including business development, attraction, candidate management and tracking, preparing candidate’s profiles prior to sending to employers, including all administration, compliance, and reference checks  
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their goals and hiring needs 
  • Review job descriptions and advert wording to ensure these are fit-for-purpose and effectively attracting the right talent 
  • Proactively identifying and approaching passive and active job candidates 
  • Contribute to the enhancement of CPA Irelands Job Board
  • Utilise up-to-date best practice recruitment methods, in sourcing and placing candidates  
  • Liaise with international partners to develop a pool of international talent looking to relocate to Ireland 
  • Generate fees to meet revenue targets  
  • Market the CPA Qualification & Further Learning Specialisms to members & employers  
  • Participate in the development of candidate & employer attraction campaigns on LinkedIn, job boards & social media 
  • Market the CPA Trainee placement service to engaged employers  
  • Build strong relationships with members, employers, and candidates.  
  • Advise and assist on all aspects of the recruitment process  
  • Negotiate offers and terms of business 
  • Regular reporting to management regarding key performance indicators 

  Role Requirements:  

  • 2-3 years recruitment/talent acquisition experience in agency or corporate Talent Acquisition within the Accounting & Finance Services sector is essential.  
  • Relevant third level qualification in Business or HR would be an advantage.  
  • Must have full recruitment life cycle experience  
  • A team player who can work collaboratively across all of CPA Irelands departments  
  • Be self-motivated, organised and have good time management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Results driven, confident, ambitious and career driven
